Niko is a black/silver mackerel tabby boy from a wonderful combination. His markings are chinchilla-like and very beautiful. He comes to us from Cattery Taurus in Saratov, Russia. We are very grateful to them for letting us have this amazing young man. The combination he comes from has produced wonderful cats and many have gone on to championship titles.
Niko is currently 10 months old, 14 lbs solid and maturing wonderfully. He did well on his first show, but because he is still so young, he couldn't compete with the matured big guys yet. Niko is very stocky and has very heavy boning. The judge called him "very solid and sturdy". Niko comes from a slowly maturing line, and we can't wait to see how he is going to grow up. His parents are both international and world champions and their offspring is simply wonderful. Niko has a beautiful wide muzzle, and beautiful copper round eyes and a wonderful round head. He is a total love bug and what we call a "velcro" cat. He wants to be with you all the time. He has beautiful clear silver markings. Niko is standing at the foundation of our cattery and we hope he gives his handsome looks to his kittens.
